This picture is a tribute to our President’s original family business in Alabama as a Pure Oil distributor. Sherell Oil was renamed Sheffield Oil Company by Allison Sheffield de Aguero’s grandfather. 

While our company began serving customers as a wholesale natural gas supplier, we quickly launched into a wholesale power operation. In 2011, we created Diversified Fuel Supply, a petroleum fuel subsidiary, and sold an equity stake to a strategic oil sector investor. The equity in the subsidiary was repurchased in 2014, and subsequently merged Diversified Fuel Supply into its parent company, DES Wholesale, LLC dba Diversified Energy Supply.

Today our organization is operated as a consolidated energy supply solution for our customers. We grew at a triple-digit pace annually for the first 7 years. In 2019 we were recognized as the 2nd fastest growing middle market company in Georgia by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) as a Fast 40 company. In 2020 we completed our first acquisition. We enjoy strong supply relationships with the largest national energy companies and bring the leading edge technology solutions to the fuel marketing and distribution sector.
